I haven't done one of these in a while. Now is a good time because I'm loving a lot of stuff from Wet N Wild. That makes me happy because they're really affordable, they've put out some really cool, and equally as great performance wise, products lately. So let's get into some of my faves that I think you need to consider getting. First would be their pressed highlighters. I have two but the one I use the most is Blossom Glow MegaGlo Highlighting Powder. It's $4.99 you can't beat that and it's so incredible. It's really a beaming highlight. It doesn't make any texture more noticeable on my skin. It can be applied several ways, I don't think there is a wrong way to apply it. I prefer to either use a fan brush or a beauty sponge. Plus this layers well over the next product I'm going to mention.
The Mega Cushion Highlight in Who's That Pearl. First off, little PSA for ya, they for some reason put this right next to the cushion correctors. So make sure you read the label. This is a cushion highlight. You would not think it would have very noticeable highlight. It does. It's so smooth. It also doesn't emphasize texture either. It's $5.99 and the cushion it self is pink. Don't let that alarm you it's the most flattering neutral shade of highlight but definitely with a cooler undertone. It's definitely Pearl as the name suggests. I only apply this with a sponge. Next is a new product. The Cushion Foundation which is $8.99. I apply this with a beauty sponge. It's got a fragrance to it so bear that in mind if you're easily irritated by fragrance. This is a gorgeous finish. Absolutely stunning, I would say it's satin to dewy finish but not overly dewy. It stays on great and for being a "cushion" foundation it's actually got pretty decent coverage and very even coverage as well. It also keeps that even coverage throughout the wear time I notice and I'm very happy with that. The packaging will fool you. You'll think it's much darker than it is. Don't let that fool you. I don't actually like the design for this because it feels very "child like" when I look at the character on the compact but I mean for $9...I can deal. It's a solid medium coverage and I do feel like it's buildable. The color doesn't change once it's dried down or it doesn't "oxidize" as some people call it. They don't have as many colors in this as I feel they have in the Photo Focus line but hopefully they'll add more. I think out of all the things, this is the most overlooked product right now. So there you go. That's 3 products that I wish people were talking about. There is a ton of products that I do love from Wet N Wild. I would recommend probably 80% of their range easily and I do when people as me for my recommendation for good products in certain categories. Not specifically "affordable" product just in general really good products over all and I usually include Wet N Wild somewhere in the mix because the products are really, really, good. I much prefer the Cushion Foundation as opposed to some really high end expensive Dior foundations. No I'm not sponsored in any way and I'm not getting sent these products either. I just really do love them and I believe they could be mentioned a little bit more than they are.
