Sephora has been doing weekly sales but they always have a pretty decent selection of sale products in general. Ulta does plenty of sales but for this post specifically it's products I've seen in their sale sections. I also stuck with makeup for this one. I like for skincare to be something I can personally recommend.

If there is one brand that I use and talk about the most that would probably be JD Glow Cosmetics. They just absolutely blow me out of the water every time and I do not understand why more people aren't talking about them honestly. So let's get into my absolute favorites from this brand.
Recently I've gotten quite a few makeup products and seeing as I talk a lot about skincare on here it seems, I thought it'd be nice to discuss them briefly and let you know how it's going.
Makeup doesn't have to be fancy. I'm so happy to see the days gone where drugstore makeup really looked atrocious. So glad to not have to go and choose just one thing from the Clinique counter (because it was the least pricey at the time) help your makeup when it really didn't, but we all have that mint green compact didn't we girls? So dang glad to see more affordable brands coming into Sephora and indie brands making a huge impact thanks to online availability. So I compiled a list of my least expensive but favorite products for as many category's as I could. I think I pretty much have them all.
I've been playing with the Natasha Denona Diamond Blush palette for about 3 weeks. I didn't know if I wanted to review it or not because I genuinely got it for myself and I picked the Citrus one because I loved that gold/yellow highlight over the coral pink blush. I already knew there would be things I didn't like about it so that's what gave me pause briefly.
OK. WHAT'S THE DEAL WITH THE GLITTER OVERLOAD PEOPLE!? Listen, I know that we've shared plenty of articles and discussed this a few times already but apparently the brands aren't getting the message. QUIT PUTTING GLITTER IN PRODUCTS!!!! I'm down for loose glitter pigments for the eye, I'm ok with glitter eye shadows or oversprays of glitter in my eyeshadow. BUT I DO NOT WANT GLITTER ALL OVER MY FACE AND THEN IN MY SKINCARE AS WELL. ITS A "NO" ON BOTH CATEGORIES.
Part 2 of My Favorite Products from 2017 is going to be makeup. I've tried quite a bit of new products and have some clear faves. I always appreciate it when there are clear stand out products that really hold top spot as a favorite.
I hope you all had a wonderful holiday, I certainly did. It was such a blessing to be with my family and feel well enough to really enjoy the company. It really was a blast. I've not even taken a second look at my presents unless they were food, lol. There was just so much love.
So today I wanted to give you my thoughts on a contour/bronzer palette I've been using for over a month I guess. It's the Tarte Princes Ave. Chisel Palette. This has 4 bronzer/contour shades and two highlight shades. Two bronzers have a satin finish and two are matte they all have different undertones as well. The highlight shades are different in undertone as well one is more yellow and one is more pink. "Its the holiday season (the holiday season) so whoop dee doo and"......ok I'm obviously in the Christmas spirit! I thought it would be fun to do a quick round up of my fave red lip colors and formula that suits the Holiday season. I'm really in love with red lips right now so I think I'm gonna keep it going into 2018. Red is my new neutral. Ok maybe not, but I do love it right now.
Lets get into it. I'm going to include liquid lips, lip glosses, lip toppers and lipsticks. So hopefully there will be something for everyone. I feel like I don't get to discuss makeup with you as much as I'd like to. I'm definitely more invested and passionate about skincare than I am makeup the older I get. Which I never thought I would feel that way but I truly do love my skin and I try to show it love lol. Anyway, I love makeup too and through the past few months I've got to try a lot of makeup that's both new and some that I just discovered for myself. From high end to drugstore we're gonna talk about all the products I've been using the most here lately.
